This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of ultrasound and CT combined with miR-200c in thyroid cancer. In this study, a total of 76 cases patients with thyroid cancer admitted to Xintai People's Hospital from February 2016 to March 2018 were collected as the observation group, and another 63 cases of patients with benign thyroid nodules were collected as the control group. The expressions of miR-200c in serum of patients in the two groups were detected by qRT-PCR method, and all patients were detected by ultrasound and CT. The diagnostic value of ultrasound, CT and miR-200c in thyroid cancer were analyzed, the thyroid calcification detected by ultrasound and CT were compared, the expression and diagnostic value of miR-200c in thyroid calcification were analyzed, and the risk factors of thyroid calcification were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression. The expression of miR-200c in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.001). The area under the curve (AUC) of miR-200c, CT, ultrasound and combined detection were 0.822, 0.658, 0.641, and 0.845, respectively. There were no statistical differences in the detection of thyroid calcification between CT and ultrasound (P>0.05). The expression of miR-200c in calcified patients was significantly lower than that in non-calcified patients. The ROC curve showed that the AUC of miR-200c was 0.774 (95%CI: 0.697~0.850). Age, lymphadenectasis and rich blood flow were independent risk factors for thyroid calcification. In conclusion, ultrasound and CT combined with miR-200c have good diagnostic value in thyroid cancer, and may be potential diagnostic indicators of thyroid cancer.
